Non-Surgical V-Line Contouring & Instant Jowl Repositioning — 360° Helical Barbed Traction

Tired of facial sagging, heavy jowls, and loss of jawline definition?

Deenora® Barbed Cog Threads are heavy-duty, absorbable traction sutures engineered for instant mechanical lifting, deep tissue repositioning, and long-term collagen anchorage (unlike smooth mono threads that only improve skin texture).

Equipped with high-density 360° spirally cut barbs, Deenora Cog threads physically grasp and elevate sagging subcutaneous tissue, locking it into a youthful, lifted contour with zero incisions or surgical downtime.

💎 Model Comparison: Which Cog Thread Do You Need?

Choose the right barb configuration based on your skin thickness and required lifting force:

• COG 3D (3-Direction Barbs | Best for Beginners & Mild Sagging) Features barbs arranged in 3 spiral planes. Provides soft, flexible lifting ideal for early-stage cheek sagging, submental tightening, and thinner skin profiles.

• COG 4D (4-Direction Barbs | The All-Round Gold Standard) Barbs oriented at 90° intervals in 4 directions. Delivers balanced, multi-vector holding force. The most versatile choice for mid-face lifts, defining the jawline, and reducing smile line depth.

• Bidirectional COG 4D (Self-Anchoring Dual Vectors | Superior Jowl Hold) Features opposing barbs pointing toward the center. Locks skin firmly from both directions without requiring deep fixed anchoring points. Outstanding for severe jowls and sagging marionette lines.

• COG 6D (6-Direction High-Density Barbs | Maximum Heavy Lifting) 6-way multidirectional barbs offering the strongest tensile strength and widest tissue contact. Designed for heavy tissue sagging, thicker skin, deep nasolabial folds, and full lower-face V-line sculpting.

🌟 Why Practitioners & Clients Choose Deenora® Cog Threads

✔ 360° Anti-Slippage Anchorage: Spirally carved barbs distribute tension evenly across the vector line, eliminating the risk of thread migration, tissue snapping, or uneven puckering. ✔ Atraumatic Cannula Options (L & W Type): Rounded blunt-tip cannulas slide smoothly through the SMAS plane, pushing facial nerves and blood vessels aside to dramatically reduce bruising and post-treatment swelling. ✔ Dual Lift & Rejuvenation Action: Provides immediate mechanical elevation on Day 1, followed by a continuous 12–24 month collagen synthesis response as the suture naturally hydrolyzes.

📏 Size & Treatment Zone Selection

• 19G / 21G 100mm (Thread: 150mm–160mm | USP 1 / USP 2) Target Zones: Lower face V-line lift, jawline contouring, heavy jowls, deep nasolabial repositioning. (Most popular size for full face lifting).

• 21G / 23G 60mm (Thread: 120mm | USP 2) Target Zones: Submental (double chin) tightening, mid-cheek volume elevation, eyebrow lifting, lateral temporal lifting.

FAQ

Q: Can the barbs break, slip, or snap when I smile or chew?

No. Deenora Cog threads are precision-manufactured with high-tensile USP 1/USP 2 core sutures. The 360° spiral barbs are cut at scientifically calculated angles to maximize tissue grip without compromising the structural integrity of the core thread.

Q: How do I prevent skin dimpling (puckering) or uneven pulling?

Dimpling happens when a thread is placed too superficially or pulled with excessive uneven tension. Deenora Cog threads should be placed in the deep subcutaneous/SMAS fat layer. Using an L-type or W-type blunt cannula ensures the thread glides evenly at the correct anatomical plane, delivering a smooth, natural-looking lift.

Q: How long does the lifting effect last?

You will see an immediate physical lift right after placement. Over the next 6 to 9 months, the thread gradually stimulates a strong collagen and elastin matrix along the vector line. Even after the suture dissolves, the newly formed collagen scaffold maintains the firm, lifted contour for 12 to 24 months.

Q: L-Cannula vs. W-Cannula — What is the practical difference?

Both are blunt-tip cannulas designed to protect nerves and blood vessels from bruising: • L-Cannula: Has a slightly angled blunt opening that offers firmer directional control, making it easier to navigate through denser or fibrous facial tissues. • W-Cannula: Has a fully rounded dome tip designed for maximum vascular safety, minimal insertion resistance, and virtually zero downtime.

Q: What is the expected recovery downtime and aftercare?

Most mild swelling, tightness, or minor tenderness resolves within 3 to 7 days. To allow the barbs to integrate securely with tissue, avoid wide mouth opening, hard/chewy foods, intense exercise, and facial massage for the first 1 to 2 weeks.
