PDO & PCL Threads for Facial and Body Aesthetic Treatments

This collection is designed for professional aesthetic treatments that focus on facial and body contour, visible skin laxity and overall skin quality. It combines smooth Mono, Multi-line, Molding, Fish Bone, COG 4D and PCL Mesh thread designs, giving practitioners different structural options for different treatment plans.

Rather than offering one universal thread, Deenora brings together several commonly used thread profiles in one collection. The difference is easy to understand: smooth threads provide a simple profile, Multi threads combine multiple lines, and structured threads such as Molding, Fish Bone and COG use a more defined surface design. The final product should be selected by a qualified professional according to the treatment area, tissue condition and product instructions.

What this collection is designed to offer

Smooth support: Mono threads have a smooth surface and are used when a simpler, more discreet thread profile is preferred.
Multi-line construction: Multi threads combine several lines in one named configuration, offering a different thread presence from a single Mono thread.
Structured anchoring: Molding, Fish Bone and COG 4D threads use defined surface structures for treatment plans that require more than a smooth profile.
Material choice: The collection includes both PDO and PCL options. The selected material and exact product documentation should always be confirmed before treatment.
Flexible size range: Options include shorter and longer lengths, different gauges, and dedicated configurations for facial or body treatment planning.

How the main designs differ

Mono smooth threads

Mono is the most straightforward design in the collection. Its smooth profile is commonly considered for treatment plans that focus on skin quality, early laxity or subtle support rather than a pronounced structured anchoring profile. The collection includes 30G13mm, 30G25mm, 30G38mm, 26G60mm, 27G38mm, 27G50mm, 29G38mm and 29G50mm options, all listed as 50pcs packs.

Multi threads

Multi threads are built around a multi-line configuration. The range includes 10lines and 16lines options in 38mm and 60mm lengths. This creates a different product design from a single Mono line, while the choice between 10lines and 16lines is further distinguished by the listed gauge. These options are useful when a practitioner is comparing a multi-line format with a smooth single-line format.

Molding, Fish Bone and COG 4D threads

These are structured thread families. Molding uses a molded profile and is available in S, L and W configurations. Fish Bone uses a directional fish-bone profile in L and W configurations. COG 4D uses a cogged structure and includes several S, L and W combinations. These designs may be considered when the treatment plan requires a more defined anchoring profile, but the result depends on the exact product, placement technique and individual response.

PCL Mesh

PCL Mesh provides a different material and structure option within the collection. It is available in 19G38mm and 19G60mm configurations. The two models share the Mesh design but differ in length. PCL Mesh should be evaluated as a separate product category and should not be substituted for a PDO thread only because the gauge appears similar.

Why Deenora

Deenora is building a one-stop medical aesthetic product supply platform around professional thread supply. This collection is organized to make the product itself easier to understand, with the structure, material, gauge and length presented together rather than relying on broad claims. For exact product confirmation, always refer to the selected option, packaging and instructions for use.

FAQ

What are Mono threads mainly used for?
Mono threads have a smooth surface and are mainly considered for skin-quality improvement, fine-line concerns, early laxity and subtle tissue support. Unlike COG or Molding threads, Mono threads do not have a structured anchoring profile.

What are COG, Molding and Fish Bone threads mainly used for?
These threads have structured surfaces designed for tissue anchoring and contour-support treatments. They are generally considered when a more defined lifting or contouring approach is needed than a smooth Mono thread can provide.

Are these threads for the face or the body?
This collection includes options for both facial and body aesthetic treatments. Shorter and finer configurations may be considered for more localized facial areas, while longer configurations may be considered for larger treatment areas. The exact model should be selected according to the treatment area and treatment plan.

How long does the result last?
The result is temporary, not permanent. PDO and PCL threads are gradually absorbed by the body, but the duration varies according to the material, structure, treatment area, technique and individual response. There is no single duration that applies to every model.

What should I expect after treatment?
Temporary swelling, bruising, tenderness, tightness or sensitivity may occur after treatment. Patients should expect a recovery period rather than assume there will be no downtime. Recovery time depends on the treatment area, number of threads and insertion technique.

Which thread should I discuss with my practitioner?
For a smooth thread design, discuss Mono. For a multi-line design, discuss Multi. For structured anchoring, discuss COG, Molding or Fish Bone. For a PCL mesh design, discuss PCL Mesh. Your practitioner can then confirm the appropriate gauge, length and model.

Are PDO and PCL threads the same?
No. PDO and PCL are different thread materials. They may also differ in absorption profile, structure and product indications. PCL Mesh should not be substituted for a PDO thread simply because the gauge or length appears similar.

Who should not receive thread treatment?
Thread treatment is not suitable for everyone. People with certain medical conditions, active skin problems, infection risks, healing concerns or other contraindications may not be suitable candidates. A qualified professional should review your health history before treatment.
